Affordable But Luxury Bedroom Furniture

I, along with my long term girlfriend, have just moved into our first house. This is a very exciting time for us both however it is also a little scary. Why scary I can hear some of you ask? Well because we have spent the last five years saving up for the deposit and buying a property in this market could be seen as some what of a risk. We are however thinking long term - we are basically thinking along the lines of that we are planning to live in the house for many years to come and that by the time we will be looking to sell that hopefully the housing market will have picked up. We have also decided to put all of these fears to one side and we have instead been deciding as to the way in which to decorate the home and how to furnish it.

One of our favourite rooms of the house is the bedroom - this is probably the room that we spend the most time in and therefore we have attempted to make this room the most comfy and luxurious. The main item that we were looking to buy was a top quality bed - I am a guy who likes and needs his sleep and I therefore wanted a bed to suit!

Other items of bedroom furniture that we were looking for were a big wardrobe - my girlfriend has a massive amount of clothes - a couple of comfy chairs, a bookcase and some cabinets.

We wanted the end finish to be as luxurious as possible but we were also on a rather tight budget - we have just bought our first house after all and this put pay to the majority of our savings. I did however have a strategy that I was confident would work for me. I basically was going to play on the fact that the majority of retailers are struggling some what at the moment, only in the last few days we have heard of some big names of retail going into administration including Jane Norman. Then there is the competition that is out there in the bedroom furniture sector - yes it is very fierce. Both of these points meant that I should be able to bag myself something of a bargain.

I am happy to report that this strategy did work for me and that our bedroom is now looking top class.
